I’m a Finnish writer whose writing journey started one Friday evening, on the 22nd August 2008. Earlier that day I went to a palm reader. He told me many things, but what struck me most was one of his questions. He simply asked me, “Why don’t you write?” How could a complete stranger know that I had a story to tell? From time to time I had felt the urge to write, but it was easier to find various excuses to postpone it. In that moment I promised myself that I would start writing. I kept my promise and that evening I began to type. I didn’t really have a choice; the push came from my soul. I couldn’t ignore it any longer!
My debut novel “And You Must Love Me” was published in 2011, and its stand-alone sequel “But He Loves Me” came out in 2013. They are part of a transformational trilogy where I projected my own experiences and feelings into a fictional story. The final part of the trilogy “If I Love Me” came out in September 2014. All my novels are available on Amazon.
Regularly setting myself new goals keeps me on my toes. My adventures so far include a successful excursion to the peak of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro, Tanzania (5895 meters). I have a soft spot in my heart for the Amani Children’s Home which has my ongoing support. They are dedicated to the protection of Tanzania’s most vulnerable population: street children and AIDS orphans. Amani is rescuing children, transforming lives and restoring hope, one child at a time. I visited them before and after my Kilimanjaro climb and my heart melted when I saw the smiles of these children.
